Sales Executive

The Opportunity… Avani Media is looking for Sales Executive to help support our existing customers and help collect new brands who are in need of a demand generation agency. You are known for your ability to sell thoughtful solutions and strategic relationship management. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, a quick learner, and goal-driven. They are excited to support current customers, and will work alongside our Client Services Team. You’re a professional, goal oriented, pay attention to detail, and have the ability to identify and rectify problems within distinct projects. Your main objectives are to meet or exceed sales goals within a set of client accounts. You will determine customers’ needs and provide them with a number of possible business solutions. At the end of the day, you will create solutions that solve the client’s obstacles and help them achieve their sales and marketing goals. You will report to the Director of Client Strategy. How You’ll Contribute…

  • Prospect and find new customers:
- You will find prospective clients, uncovering their desires, and matching them with Avani’s services - Sell solutions by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects
  • Own account relationships including:

- Day to day contact - Pitching and planning new programs - Renewing current customers and expanding into new budgets - Negotiate and close deals by handling rebuttals and objections - Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Avani offerings to prepare and deliver appropriate proposals that accurately describe those products and set proper expectations
  • Other responsibilities:
- Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and onsite client meetings on behalf of the company This role will be measured on account expansion and net new business goals. What You Bring…
  • 1+ years of B2B sales or account management experience
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of discretion regarding sensitive and confidential information
  • A strong desire for growth, constructive criticism, and ongoing learning
  • Superior organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize tasks seamlessly
  • Distinguished written and oral communication skills

Paid Media Specialist

You’ll be tasked with implementing, managing, and executing paid media and paid social campaigns for our B2B Technology clients. Our goal is to work as an extension of our client’s teams, collaborating weekly and ensuring we are maximizing our client’s return. You will work closely with our strategists, account managers, and other client services team members to implement full-funnel demand generation programs. How You’ll Contribute…

  • Executing paid search and paid social strategy for our clients
  • Conducting strategic planning and optimization efforts
  • Collaborating with clients and making recommendations to achieve goals
  • Developing and implementing testing strategies to increase advertising efficiency
  • Utilizing in-house and 3rd party tools to drive results
  • Reporting on KPIs and communicating clearly with clients
What You Bring…
  • Advanced understanding and experience running paid advertising campaigns across key platforms including: Google (Search, Display, Discovery), Bing, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, and Youtube
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in emerging social platforms (i.e. Reddit, Tiktok, Quora) and programmatic
  • Ability to analyze campaign and creative performance data in order to improve KPIs
  • Ability to provide insights and recommendations based on performance data
  • Outstanding collaboration skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally in order to establish and meet shared organizational goals

Media Planner

The Opportunity… Avani Media is looking for a Media Planner to help support our growing base of clients with their media planning and strategy needs. You’ll drive media planning and ensure a high quality of work layered with strategic thinking and insights. You are motivated, well-spoken, and are hard-wired with a “get things done” attitude. You’ll be expected to produce a finalied and negotiated media plan to the account team prior to joining the team in the pitch. How You’ll Contribute…

  • Develop fully negotiated media plans across all digitally relevant channels
  • Manage and maintain vendor relationships as you’ll be one of the most consistent person in front of vendors
  • Develop and present concise results in pitch and wrap up decks, ensuring any learnings are captured and recommendations are noted
  • Be a key member of our large account teams by being the subject matter expert on all things digital planning, including audience watering holes and vendor recommendations
  • Deliver POVs to clients highlighting vendor or market trends that are new or relevant
  • Enter program level details into tracking software and internal documents ensuring accuracy and consistency
What You Bring… Our ideal candidate has a knack for digital media and an innate curiosity that drives them to continue to uncover the art of the possible. We're looking for someone who's hungry to learn and can do so quickly, while also bringing new ideas and creativity to the team. Some other things we’re looking for are:
  • 3+ years of experience planning and buying media, ideally for B2B clients
  • Knowledge of the general activation capabilities of paid social, large B2B technology publishers, and other relevant tactics
  • Excellent communication skills through a variety of digital communication, including Slack, Email and over the phone/Zoom
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask while upholding a high level of accuracy
  • High level of customer empathy
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
